Pearl Andaman Diving is based in Bang Tao Beach, on the beautiful island of Phuket, Thailand. Phuket is often referred to as "The Pearl of the south" and connects divers to some of the best dive sites in South East Asia. With water temperatures usually between 28-30ํ Celsius, visibility ranging between 15-30+ meters and an incredible amount of marine biodiversity, its no wonder divers arrive in Phuket from all over the world! Pearl Andaman Diving was established in 2003 by Gerald Poschauko and in August 2008 opened its sister shop. But that's not all that has grown. Starting out with 2 boats, PADs' fleet has now grown to 7, while its staff has also changed quite a lot! The nunber of divers education programs and course offerings has grown, with coursed now available through PADI, CMAS, DSAT and more! Located on the beautiful island of Phuket, Thailand, Pearl Andaman Diving is miles away from the ordinary dive shops one usually encounters in travel destinations. Bang Tao is a small, close-knit community allowing visitors to experience the real Phuket, away from the madness of Patong and the tourist hotspots of Kata and Karon.

Pearl Andaman Diving offers a full range of dive destinations including (but not limited to) the popular southern sitess of Koh Phi Phi, Racha Yai, (Ane mone Reef, Shark Point, King Cruiser), and Hin Daeng/Hin Muang. Off of Bang Tao beach, Pearl Andaman Diving has access to 4 excellent dive sites Park (the first one developed in Thailand). In the middle of the indian Ocean, to the west of Thailand's Phang-Nga Province, lies the Similand National Park. This group of islands is considered to be one of the top drive destinations in the world, with excellent sites perfectly suited ot divers of all ecperience levels. Further north of the Similans, divers can experience the wonders of Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock.

Trips to the southern sites and Bang Tao beach sites are run as half day trips, while trips to the Siminlans and northern sites are more enjoyable on our live-aboard boat-Jetiya. Unlike most other shops, the trip out to Jetiya, who lives up in the Similans, is by speedboat from Bang Tao, rather than by along, bumpy minibus ride followed by a long boat ride out.

Pearl Andaman Diving also offers a full range of dive courese, from beginner and test dives to professional, instructor level coursed. Courses can be completed through PADI or CMAS, as well as DSAT for experienced divers looking to take on the challenge of deep, technical diving. A pool that has been specially designed for diver training is conveniently located just behind our 2nd shop at The Kris Resort.
